Dr. Miriam Anglo received her Bachelor of Science in Vision Science from Nova Southeastern University. She completed her externship training at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, ranked the number one eye hospital in the country for several years. In 2015, Dr. Anglo earned the Southern Council of Optometry Award for Clinical Excellence and received her Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. Following graduation, she completed an ACOE-accredited residency in ocular disease at Aran Eye Associates in Coral Gables, Florida. She served as Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry for over five years, mentoring and educating the future generation of optometrists and treating patients in the Primary Care and Dry Eye Services. Dr. Anglo has presented several scientific posters on a variety of ocular topics and has published articles in peer-reviewed medical journals. She has participated as co-investigator in multiple research studies, including a national multicenter study on ocular surface disease. She has volunteered as a vision screener, helping children, athletes, individuals with special needs, and underprivileged communities. Dr. Anglo focuses on comprehensive eye care, diabetic eye exams, contact lens fittings, pre- and post-operative care, and management of diseases of the eye, such as glaucoma and dry eye. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
